Lucius Easen is the musical collaboration of independent Canadian singer-songwriters Mihan Han and Paul Gillespie. Inspired by video games and sci-fi/fantasy from their youth, we fuse human music and lyrics with AI visuals, chronicling the struggle for real connection in a synthetic world.
The man in our artwork is a fictional avatar, created by chance when we were experimenting with AI to make cover art for our first single, the concept being a modern day Narcissus. He looked cool so we decided to make him our official avatar. Much like an RPG character, we customize him to showcase our various (nerdy) interests and creative inspirations.
